Terms and Conditions for Rentals Villas in Marbella
Terms and Conditions
- A reservation will be considered confirmed when a deposit of 50% of the total villa rental cost has been received by Gonzo Realtor. The remaining 50% is due two calendar months prior to the arrival date. This can be paid by credit card or bank transfer. A 3-5% fee will apply to credit card payments. Gonzo Realtor will issue a receipt for this payment along with the booking confirmation.
- Full payment is due two calendar months before the start of the rental period.
Cancellations must be made in writing, by post or email.
Cancellations received two calendar months or more before the start of the rental period will be subject to a 50% reduction of the total cost.
Refunds for cancellations made after this point are at the discretion of the property owner.
- In the event that Gonzo Realtor successfully rebooks the canceled property, we will refund the original party their full funds minus any loss of income from a possible reduced rate, and less a 15% administration fee. If unsuccessful, the aforementioned clause 3 applies.
- All our properties are privately owned and maintained. Sometimes they are the principal owners’ homes.
We want guests to enjoy themselves but ask that they show the same level of respect for others’ property as they would like to receive for their own.
We take a security deposit against breakages or damages. If no breakages or damages occur, this will be returned in full within 7 working days.
In the event that issues are found, they will be rectified from the security deposit. The liability of the renting party is not limited to the security deposit.
- We strongly recommend that all renting parties obtain adequate insurance coverage before traveling. Gonzo Realtor is not responsible for any deficiencies in the renting parties’ insurance coverage.
- All properties are thoroughly cleaned before the rental period. We request that properties are left in a reasonable state of cleanliness. Pets are not allowed unless by prior agreement and in writing. Linens and towels are included for all properties.
- Properties are offered for rent for the sole purpose of a holiday. No form of commercial activity is permitted on the premises. The number of people occupying the property must not exceed the number stated on the booking form. If the client wishes to hold a large party, please inform us in advance so we can check with the owner.
- Check-in time is 4:00 PM. Check-out time is 11:00 AM. Our local manager will try to accommodate alternative schedules upon request.
- All properties have been visited and inspected by Gonzo Realtor staff, and the information provided is given in good faith and believed to be fully accurate.
- In the unlikely event that a client is not satisfied with their accommodation, we request that they contact their local manager without delay.
- The manager will seek to resolve any complaints. When this cannot be achieved, they will attempt to provide alternative accommodation.
This cannot be guaranteed, and additional costs may be incurred. Gonzo Realtor is not responsible for additional costs.
Any dispute arising from this agreement, if not resolved amicably between the parties, will be subject to the Courts of Marbella.
